Saraswatichandra is a popular Indian television drama series that originally aired on Star Plus from February 2013 to September 2014. It is based on the classic Gujarati novel of the same name written by Govardhanram Tripathi, which tells the story of a young man named Saraswatichandra who falls in love with a young woman named Kumud. The show explores themes of love, family, duty, and tradition, set against the backdrop of a wealthy Indian family in Gujarat. It starred Gautam Rode as Saraswatichandra and Jennifer Winget as Kumud. The show was a huge commercial success and won numerous awards, including the Indian Television Academy Awards for Best Drama Series and Best Actor (Male) for Rode.
